Want to avoid the two-hour traffic from Downtown L.A.? Ontario International Airport places you right in the heart of Ontario, just minutes from #THOPFest, various hotels, and popular attractions like Ontario Mills. Some hotels even offer a free Uber ride from the airport to your hotel. While the airport is conveniently located, keep in mind that it is smaller, so direct flights may be limited, and prices can be higher compared to larger airports like LAX.

LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)
LAX is located approximately 50 miles from Ontario, California. On weekends with light traffic, the drive from LAX to Ontario typically takes between one to one and a half hours. However, during peak weekday hours (Monday through Friday, 2–6 PM), travel time can extend to 2–3 hours.
Alternatively, you can reach Ontario from LAX by taking the FlyAway Bus to Union Station and then catching a train to Pomona, Upland, or Ontario, bringing you within minutes of #THOPFest.
Uber rides from LAX to Ontario generally range from $50 to $150. Although flights to LAX are often cheaper than flights to Ontario due to the larger number of flights and greater airport capacity, Ontario offers a convenient alternative if you prefer a shorter ground travel time.

Here are some additional airport options that might offer better prices than ONT or LAX and are located either closer to or roughly the same distance as Ontario: Burbank, Long Beach, Palm Springs, and Santa Ana airports.
